About Us
Shady.ie is a Cork based, Irish passion project born out the love for all things lighting. Our shades and lamps are all designed, lasercut and hand assembled in our studio. Our moto is; if you can buy it elsewhere, we don’t make it! 🤣
Shady.ie is certainly not a onesize fits all. 😉
All of our shades are customisable in size, shape, colour, scale, materials,etc. We work with other designers to bring their concepts from initial sketch through prototyping through to final products.
We try to be as sustainable as possible and some of our ranges include materials which are byproducts from industry which were destined for landfill, but we have rescued to be given a new purpose as lighting.
We adore that we get to create gorgeous shades and lighting to add a little light to your spaces. We consider ourselves a lucky little bunch altogether. 💚
